''I joined the club when I was 11 years old in year 7 and I have been going ever since and I am now 15 years old and am in year 11. The reason I started going in the first place was because it was run by my friend's family and I thought it would be a good way to spend a few hours a week messing around with my mates, soon after some other friends of mine joined. 

I started going to Ajax just as a social thing but more recently my mindset has a become more serious and I now go consistently three times a week because I want to improve at badminton with the added bonus of my mates being there. The coaches are some of the nicest people I have ever met who are incredibly kind and hospitable. Ajax is an excellent badminton club because it is both a fun and free environment whilst also offering probably the best badminton coaches in the world that if you are willing to focus will make you an excellent badminton player.'

Ajax badminton club is an excellent club for all skill levels from outright beginners to county league, it has a thriving junior club and Adult club both run by Philip and Michael Chipperfield.

Philip and Michael are both qualified badminton coaches. Both are totally committed to Ajax badminton club, the sport of badminton and enthusiastically encourage the introduction of the sport to the younger individuals in the local area. 

Ajax badminton club runs a well attended junior club. The junior club runs twice a week and is open to all young adults from 6 years to 18 years, whom have an interest and desire to learn how to play badminton. The juniors are able, as their skills develop, to participate in local and county competitions.
